Your Shops Open But Your Door Is Locked

Every website owner wants the best for there online business to succeed - but is your online shop open but the door shut?

You may have created - what you think to be the perfect website, that’s user friendly and your able to navigate around with ease - yet you fail to reach page one ranking.

Have you optimised your website to its best potential?
If you haven’t then you won’t reach page one ranking or even two, if this is the case your website will be unseen to the viewers eyes. It’s a known fact that only 70% of users will check the first page listing, visitors normally won’t go beyond that and check the second page and they most certainly don’t check the third! So if you’re unfortunate enough to have page three ranking for your website it will be difficult to get the traffic that you desire. 30% of users check the second page but generally speaking if you were to check yourself within the search engines you find what you’re looking for on the first page so regardless of page rank if you’re not featured within the top ten you will not receive the desired traffic to turn into conversions for your website.

Here at Position Gold we strive to achieve page one ranking for your website we do this by adding good quality content to your website to help get it noticed by the search engines, we aim to offer a vast amount of informative information to make sure that we are giving the viewers information that they require, which will result in the search engines applying your website as a user friendly website. Our main aim is to get your website to the top by fixing any URL problems, W3C validation errors to ensure that the visitor has a rich viewing of your website,  If these problems are fixed, your website will be seen to be very informative to the search engines such as Google and they will rank you highly for this.

Search Engine Optimisation isn’t done over night it takes time and effort to achieve the desired results, there are some unscrupulous webmasters out there that will do harm to your website so if you entrust your website with an Internet marketing company research to make sure that they will apply good ethical techniques to your website and then you can sit back and watch the traffic turn into conversions for you. When we apply SEO to your website we ensure that its an ongoing project to ensure that your website stays at the top there are so many websites within the same industry, which are all trying to reach the top so its vital to do this to maintain your place at the top, give one of our friendly team a call to answer any queries that you may have.

How long until Christmas??!!

At the time of publishing this blog, Christmas is just two days away and there are two sleeps left until Christmas. To be more precise….. There are just 38.73 hours left until Christmas day; Thats 2,324 minutes; Thats 139,440 seconds!

That really is not long and it is getting less and less as you read on. Whether you think that this is a good thing or a bad thing is up to you, however we can agree that there is simply not much time left to get any last minute necessities or do some last minute Christmas shopping. So think of us as an alarm clock, giving you a wait up call to get organised!!!

However, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a business that cannot be rushed. one cannot simply put a timer on it as there is no way of telling how long a website will take to be fully optimised. There are many different things that can influence how quickly a website can be optimised, some of them are that we can do, some of them are out of our control, some of them are down to Google (who aren’t to be pushed around and do things when they want!!).

What can influence the length of an SEO campaign?

  • Google Cache- The Google cache is happens every couple of months, roughly every quarter. The cache is when Google spiders the website, caches it, indexes it and then gives all websites the mysterious PageRank, which the higher the better. By getting the website thoroughly optimised with links and content, you can exploit the Google Cache.
  • Competitive Keywords- Use keywords that are not massively competitive to start off, E.g. Mortgages or Loans are too competitive to start off with, where as focussed keywords, E.g. ‘Fixed rate mortgages’ or ‘cheap loans in London’ are much much better for a newly optimised website to start off with.
  • Niche Keywords and Markets- Focus upon an area that is not completely full of websites, E.g. ‘Loans’. Aim at something a tad more uncommon, E.g. ‘Cheap loans in London’, this will give your website a lot better rankings within the SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages) and will gain it credibility before targeting the big keywords.
  • White hat SEO methods- By only using the most ethical White Hat SEO methods, we can ensure the best possible start to your SEO campaign.
